Feedback needed

We need your feedback regarding the date for our Annual Holiday Recital. We posted earlier and sent home information asking about December 6th or the 13th. The feedback we received was that at least 3 wouldn’t be able to do a recital on the 6th. The 13th or 14th seemed to be the better dates for everyone. However, the facility where we hold the recital is not available on the 13th or 14th of December. It is available, however, on Sunday, December 15th from either 5:30-7:00 pm or 6:00-7:30 pm. Please check your calendars to see if that date would work for you or your student. If that date won’t work, we may have to consider not doing a Holiday recital this year and perhaps try for a Spring Recital instead. Since our student numbers are down currently, we are especially eager to find a date when everyone can participate. Please contact us via text, email or in person and let us know your thoughts and suggestions. Thank you!

2017-2018 Lesson Calendar

All students should have received a Lesson Contract which should be read, signed, and returned at the next lesson and a 2017-2018 Lesson Calendar.  If you/your student misplaced the Lesson Contract, please request another.  It will not be posted here as it is customized for each student.   Just in case the calendar is lost, it is here:

Fall Lessons Begin

Exciting news–Larimer Music will begin its Fall Lesson Schedule tomorrow, August 28, 2017.  We are open for business once again. If you are unsure of your new lesson day/time, please refer to our Fall Lesson Schedule here: Can’t wait to begin working with all of you once again!

Fall is Just Around the Corner

Here are more updates to the Fall Lesson Schedule!  We still have 3 current students who have not signed up for a lesson time. Recently, we have had several inquiries regarding lessons from new students.  Open lesson times are limited, so please don’t forget to reserve your lesson day and time as soon as possible.  Once all lesson times are filled, you will be placed on a waiting list.  We don’t want that to happen to any of our current students–reserve your spot soon!

One of our youngest students–Elle, who turned 7 last month, playing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” as a duet with Ms. Laura.  Elle loves this song and practiced very hard to learn it even though it’s a little more difficult than the songs in her beginner book.  Absolutely fantastic job, Elle!

Practice Minutes Winners

Since we began our Practice Minutes Competition in March, we have increased our piano students practice times enormously.  It’s more difficult to practice in the Summer as we have vacations, pool days, beach days, etc; however, our students are averaging 80 minutes per week this summer. That is wonderful. Here are all 4 of our winners so far.  So proud of all of you.  Keep up the great work.  Let’s see who will win in July!
