Happy Halloween to our students and families! Be safe out there in this weather but be sure to get some goodies. You are welcome to share any unwanted candy with our lesson room candy bowl. Bwah hah hah hah!
Thank you all for your feedback on Holiday Recital dates. Since the majority of you agreed on Sunday, December 15th, we are making it official. Our recital will begin on Sunday, December 15 at 5:30 pm at Lansing Presbyterian Church, 2625 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL.
Please invite your family and friends to come out and hear our current (and a couple of former) piano and vocal students perform lovely Holiday and non Holiday songs. Light refreshments will be served afterwards. Please let us know if you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help out with programs, cups, plates, refreshments, etc.
We need your feedback regarding the date for our Annual Holiday Recital. We posted earlier and sent home information asking about December 6th or the 13th. The feedback we received was that at least 3 wouldn’t be able to do a recital on the 6th. The 13th or 14th seemed to be the better dates for everyone. However, the facility where we hold the recital is not available on the 13th or 14th of December. It is available, however, on Sunday, December 15th from either 5:30-7:00 pm or 6:00-7:30 pm. Please check your calendars to see if that date would work for you or your student. If that date won’t work, we may have to consider not doing a Holiday recital this year and perhaps try for a Spring Recital instead. Since our student numbers are down currently, we are especially eager to find a date when everyone can participate. Please contact us via text, email or in person and let us know your thoughts and suggestions. Thank you!
Congrats to our student, Hunter, who is currently starring in his very first musical production. It’s not very often that you land the lead at your first audition, but Hunter did it! He is playing Gomez Addams this weekend at MHS auditorium. The shows are tonight at 7 tomorrow at 7 and Sunday at 2. Tickets are on sale at Munaud.org or at the door. We can’t wait to see it.
